Spring Family Camping
Scouting is an outdoor activity, and so it’s time to get back to nature during Pack 50 Spring Family Camping, on April 5-6 at Camp Wilson in the Pohick Bay Regional Park in Lorton VA. This historic BSA site offers some amazing hiking trails, historic sites, and plenty of space to explore!
Pack activities are scheduled from 2pm Saturday through 9am Sunday. We will enjoy a Pack dinner and breakfast together, and there will be fun activities planned for our scouts and their families. There is no cost for this camp-out... the Pack covers all camping fees. Day campers are also welcome.

Burke Lake District Summer Camp
The Burke Lake District is hosting a BSA Summer Camp June 23- 27 at Occoquan Regional Park in Lorton. This 5-day adventure will include archery, sling shots, climbing wall, STEM Scout skills and arts & crafts.
Day camp is for registered Cub Scouts entering grades 1-5. To participate, the Pack must provide one adult volunteer per five scouts. Those entering 1st Grade must also be accompanied by an adult during their participation.

Registration fee is $200 per Cub Scout.
Lenten Soup Supper
Our scouts will help serve and clean up. It's a great service opportunity and way to support the parish.

Scout Sunday
The Holy Spirit Parish will recognize Scout Sunday, an annual nation-wide event. All Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and members of other scouting-like organizations are encouraged to join the celebration of Scout Sunday by wearing their uniforms and joining in at the 10:30am Mass.
Pack 50 Pinewood Derby
Get ready to race! This is one of our biggest and funnest events of the scouting year. Winners from each Den for the Fastest and Best In Show categories go on to compete at the District level.
Pinewood Derby Car Check-in
In order to compete for Fastest or Best in Show categories, all cars must be weighed, inspected, and checked-in on Friday prior to race day.

Fall Family Camping
Bring the whole family to Pack 50’s Fall Family Camping event. We will overnight camp at Turkey Ridge Run Group Campground at Prince William Forest Park.

Community Service - Scouting for Food
Scouting For Food is a National Good Turn Scouting project conducted nationwide. Each local council organizes its effort to collect food for local food distribution organizations.

Pack Fishing Adventure

Fishing is an important part of the scouting outdoor activities and is offered as an elective adventure. Please save the date: September 28 - more details to follow!
Pack 50 scouts will have the opportunity to meet and talk with a local competitive fisherman. He will talk with our scouts about fishing basics and safety. Bring your rods and fishing gear! Bait will be provided. Pack 50 will have a few extra rods for those who need them.

Scouting Family Fun Night
Join Cub Scout Pack 50, Scouts BSA Troop 50, and Girl Scout Troop 55018 at an evening of fun, games at the Holy Spirit Church lawn.
Washington Nationals Scout Day
Join fellow Scouts at Nationals Park for Scout Days! With the purchase of a special ticket, fans will receive a limited edition Nationals Scout Patch and get to enjoy an exclusive pre-game photo opportunity on the field. For every ticket sold, $5 will be donated to the National Capital Area Council.
Family members are welcome. We will have a special opportunity for Scouts to run the bases after the game!

This special Pack 50 meeting will celebrate the achievements of our Scouts, and advance them to the next Scout rank.
The scouts worked diligently throughout the year to master new skills, complete requirements, and demonstrate leadership within the pack.
